Delhi's courts will not have summer vacation, the time being wasted will be replenished in June

New Delhi: Lockdown was announced in the country due to Corona virus. Due to this, the functioning of government offices to private offices and from lower courts to upper courts has been affected. To compensate for this, the Delhi High Court has now decided that the courts will remain open during the holiday in June.

There will be no trial in the courts of Delhi in June, there will be no holiday. The
Delhi High Court, through video conferencing, decided in full court reference under the chairmanship of the Chief Justice that usually the High Court and lower courts are discharged in the month of June every year. It will not be a year, because all are currently closed from the High Court to the lower courts due to Coronavirus. Only those cases are being heard which are very important and that too through video conferencing. During this period, thousands of cases which were listed for hearing in the court, the next date is also being given. Keeping this in mind, the High Court has decided that not only the Delhi High Court but also the lower courts of Delhi will work without taking leave in the month of June.


What is the order of the Delhi High
Court while issuing the order of opening the court in June, it was said on behalf of the High Court, "Because of the Corona virus at this time the functioning of the lower court to the High Court has been completely disrupted. Only those cases Are hearing which are very important. New cases are not being filed before the court as well as old cases are not being settled. The settlement of the old case is getting more delayed and people have to bear the brunt of it directly. Keeping this in mind, the High Court has decided to continue the court proceedings in the month of June. "
