Prime Minister Imran Khan's special assistant on health matters has also surrounded allegations of smuggling. The FIA has issued a notice to investigate the allegations leveled by the Pakistan Young Pharmacists Association (PYPA) in this regard. The association has alleged that Dr Zafar Mirza, a special aide of Prime Minister Khan and Ghazanfar Ali, deputy director of the Drugs Regulatory Authority, smuggled two crore masks from the country.
