Now, due to the lockdown, the textile artisans stuck in Surat in Gujarat have created a lot of uproar. Angry people did not even fire on the road due to non-payment of salary and food.

Hundreds of migrant laborers, troubled by the lockdown in Surat, Gujarat, came out on the streets on Friday night. These people were demanding arrangements to send them back to their homes. During their fierce demonstration, workers also burnt several vehicles. The police chased down the arsonists and took the situation under their control. It is being told that this whole incident is from Laskana area of Surat. These migrant laborers on the streets were constantly demanding to make proper arrangements to return to their homes and to pay their dues as soon as possible.
