Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was among the first politicans who reacted to Modi’s tweet, suggesting the Prime Minister to “give up hatred”, and “not social media accounts”. “Give up hatred, not social media accounts,” Gandhi took a dig at Modi.
Modi is known for his ability to connect with the masses through social media. According to The Economic Times, Modi had roughly 5.3 million followers in 2014 which rapidly grew over a period of five years.
