India is currently under the biggest lockdown with around 130 crore people staying at home. The Coronavirus cases have gone up to 3000 and nearly 68 deaths have been recorded. This lockdown was a measure taken to curb the spread of the disease.

The lack of day to day vehicles and so many workplaces shut, the daily increase of air pollution causing sources have been shut down. Ten days into the lockdown has brought quite an improvement in the air quality in many cities.

Seeing the dip in air pollution might be a piece of happy news but there are some concerns that are being overlooked. Air pollution is not the only kind of pollution to look after, with this pandemic the rise in medical waste has increased drastically.
