Home Minister Amit Shah's instructions to BSF - Pakistan, Bangladesh could not even kill birds on the border

Home Minister praised the awareness campaign conducted by BSF. Apart from this, instructions were also given to increase the vigil on the border without fencing.

New Delhi: Amidst the furore over the Corona virus, Home Minister Amit Shah has given strict instructions to the BSF not to kill even the birds without a fencing border. For the Pakistan and Bangladesh border, the Home Minister Minister Shah has directed that more vigil be taken and no one should be allowed to enter the border of India. He said this in a video conferencing with BSF officials today.

Government believes that movement can also happen during lock down from across the border. The Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, along with the BSF Command and Sector Headquarters, held a review meeting through video conferencing for guarding arrangements at the India-Pakistan and India-Bangladesh borders. Shah instructed to intensify vigil on the border especially in areas where there is no fence. Its purpose is that there can be no movement from across the border.

The Home Minister directed that the farmers of the border areas should be educated about the corona virus. Also, preventive measures should be taken to prevent the spread of this deadly virus in these areas. Apart from this, he has said that by coordinating with the district administration, the BSF should ensure that people do not accidentally cross the border fence.

Amid the outbreak of Corona virus, the Home Minister praised the good work done by BSF. During the lockdown, the BSF is also making people aware along the border security. Apart from this, wherever possible, sanitation efforts are being made in the villages as per the instructions of the Ministry of Health. At the same time, face masks and soap for hand washing are being provided. Along with it, ration, drinking water and medical facilities are also being provided to the needy, including remote villages, migrant laborers, daily laborers and truck drivers trapped in the border areas. Minister of State for Home Affairs G.M. Besides Kishan Reddy and Nityananda Rai, the Union Home Secretary, Secretary (Border Management) and Director General of Border Security Force were also present.
