A fan asks, ‘how much have the Khans contributed for COVID-19?’; Salman Khan’s friend Nikhil Dwivedi replies

Amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Bollywood actors have come forward to contribute funds for PM Narendra Modi’s CARES fund. Recently, actors Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan donated Rs. 25 crore and 30 lakhs respectively to help during the crisis.

Even PM Modi took to his Twitter account and praised the actors for their ‘great gesture’. But post Akshay’s news came in, fans started questioning Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan’s contribution in these tough times.

One of the fans asked, “How much have the Khan trio given?” on social media. Producer Nikhil Dwivedi gave a befitting reply to it and mentioned that all of them do charity. He also revealed that he is ‘shocked’ to know about Salman’s foundation which does a lot of charity. He wrote, “SalmanKhan's BeingHuman foundation works round the year. Once, I myself was sceptical of it. In recent years I hd the opportunity of observing it closely& was pleasantly shockd at the kind of monies it spent. Its a sincere charity. SRK spends substantially too. So does MrBachchan.”
