Google Play Store 25

  • Wallpaper Level
  • Padenatef
  • Super Wallpapers Flashlight
  • Video Maker
  • Contour Level Wallpaper.
  • Color Wallpapers
  • Pedometer
  • iPlayer
  • iWallpaper
  • Powerful Flashlight
  • Super Bright Flashlight
  • Solitaire Game
  • Super Flashlight
  • File Manager
  • Classic Card Game
  • Junk File Cleaning
  • Synthetic Z
  • Accurate Scanning of QR Code
  • Health Step Counter
  • Composite Z
  • Anime Live Wallpaper
  • Daily Horoscope Wallpapers
  • Screenshot Capture
  • Plus Weather
  • Wuxia Reader

Potentially hazardous Apollo asteroid galloping towards Earth, likely to fly by on May 7

An asteroid 210-metre in diametre is hurling towards earth and is likely to come particularly close on May 7, when the asteroid is like to fly past. NASA Centre for Near-Earth Object Studies has revealed details about the asteroid on its website. The Apollo category space rocks are considered to be the most dangerous type of intruders as they intersect Earth's orbit with theirs.
The '438908 (2009 XO)' is a very small asteroid whose orbit crosses the orbit of Earth. NASA JPL has classified 2009 XO as a "Potentially Hazardous Asteroid" due to its predicted close encounter with Earth.
The 2009 XO orbits the sun every 926 days (2.54 years), coming as close as 0.85 AU and reaching as far as 2.87 AU from the sun. Based on its brightness and the way it reflects light, 2009 XO is probably between 0.211 to 0.472 kilometres in diameter, making it a small to average asteroid, very roughly comparable in size to a football field.

Close Approaches

In the next 180 years, the asteroid is likely to have 12 near-earth encounters.

Google on Monday (April 27, 2020) asked people to 'Stay and Play at Home' by launching its new Doodle series which is a throwback to some of its popular interactive Google Doodle games. By launching the new game series during lockdown Google is celebrating 50 years of Kids Coding
The first game in the games series is from 2017 'Coding' game which features a bunny and to win the game, the player has to get the bunny to collect all carrots. The player can move different command tiles into the tray and the bunny will follow what the player is programming it to perform. The search engine giant will further keep on adding more coding games in the series to help people enjoy their time playing at home.
The Google Doodle blog read, ''As COVID-19 continues to impact communities around the world, people and families everywhere are spending more time at home. In light of this, we’re launching a throwback Doodle series looking back at some of our popular interactive Google Doodle games! Stay and play at home with today’s featured throwback: Our 2017 Doodle game celebrating 50 years of Kids Coding!''

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will return to work on Monday after a two-week-long fight against coronavirus. Johnson was admitted to London's St Thomas hospital when his symptoms worsened.
Depending on doctors' advice, Johnson may host Monday's daily Downing Street news conference and possibly take on the new Labour leader Keir Starmer at Prime Minister's Questions on Wednesday, Sky News reported.
"He is 'raring to go' and will be back Monday," Sky News noted, citing a Downing Street source.
Johnson said on April 12 that he had left the hospital "after a week in which the NHS has saved my life, no question."
Johnson, who spent three nights in intensive care in the hospital, spent a week in Chequers, the prime minister's country house after leaving hospital.

"He had a Chequers meeting with advisers on Friday and he will be meeting the (British) health secretary, Matt Hancock, and getting back to his normal schedule," Sky News reported.
British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab, who is also the first secretary of state, had been deputized by Johnson to carry out his duties during his illness.
Earlier in the day, the British Department of Health said that a further 813 people had died of COVID-19 as of 1600 GMT on Friday, bringing the death toll to 20,319 and making UK the fifth nation globally to pass the grim milestone of 20,000 deaths, after the United States, Italy, Spain and France.
Care home deaths and those in the community are still excluded from the British tally.
The UK-wide figure has doubled in less than two weeks. A total of 148,377 people have now tested positive for the virus in the country, a jump of 4,913 in 24 hours.

San Francisco: Facebook on Wednesday (April 22, 2020) launched its Messenger Kids application to 70 new countries, saying it can help children deal with the challenges of distance learning and isolation during the coronavirus COVID-19 lockdowns.
The new countries are in various regions of the world and include Afghanistan, Costa Rica, Indonesia, and Tuvalu but no European countries are on the list yet.
The app, which is aimed at children under 13, will also be adding a "supervised friending" feature enabling parents to approve new connections, starting in the United States and gradually rolling out to other countries.
"With schools closed and people physically distancing, parents are turning to technology more than ever to help their kids connect with friends and family," Facebook's global head of safety Antigone Davis said in a blog post.
He added, "Messenger Kids is a video chat and messaging app that helps kids connect with friends and family in a fun, parent-controlled space. Today, we're starting to roll out Messenger Kids to more countries and we're adding new choices for parents to connect kids with friends."
Messenger Kids was launched in the United States in 2017 and expanded later to Canada and a handful of other countries, aiming at children too young for a Facebook account.
With the changes announced on Wednesday, kids will be able to connect in groups to help facilitate learning, under parental supervision.
Parents in the US, Canada, and Latin America can also allow their children to make their names and profile photos visible as part of the move to get more friends. Kids will be able to initiate their own friend requests. Until now these had to be initiated by the parents.
"Parents have told us they want to be able to give their kids more independence in managing their contact list while still maintaining parental supervision," Davis said.

New Delhi: Inspired by the stupendous growth of video meeting apps in social distancing times, WhatsApp is building a new feature that will allow more participants, that the current limit of 4, to join group audio and video calls.
Spotted on Thursday by WABetaInfo, a fan website that tracks WhatsApp updates, the latest WhatApp Beta update revealed the company is planning to extend the limit of participants in a voice or video group call.
"WhatsApp, probably due to the concerns for the COVID-19 and the fact that more users are using group calls, has decided to extend that limit to allow calls with more participants," said the report.

The company is yet to reveal how many users will finally be able to join the group call when the new calling feature is rolled out globally.
The changes were spotted in WhatsApp Messenger beta for iOS 2.20.50.23.
While you`re in a call, WhatsApp shows a new header, informing that the call is end-to-end encrypted.
"All participants will have to be on the most recent WhatsApp version for iOS and Android to be able to participate in a bigger group call," the report mentioned.
Late last month, 70 per cent more people participated in group video calls using Facebook Messenger week-over-week, and the amount time spent on those group video calls has doubled globally.
Similarly, voice and video calls on WhatsApp have more than doubled year-over-year in the places most impacted by the virus.
Apple`s FaceTime video calling tool supports 32 people while Facebook Messenger can support up to 50 people in a call.

500,000 Hacked Zoom Accounts Being Sold on Dark Web: Report

Tuesday, April 14, 2020

Zoom video conferencing app has seen an unprecedented level of growth in the past month or so. This is mainly because of the coronavirus pandemic that has forced people to stay indoors and work from home, leaving voice and video calls the only way of communication. Because of this sudden growth, several privacy and security concerns surrounding Zoom have come to the fore. Now, a fresh report claims that over 500,000 Zoom accounts have been hacked and are being sold on the dark web.
report by Bleeping Computer states that hackers are selling these Zoom accounts for less than a penny each and in some cases, they are being given away for free. The report adds that this information about free Zoom accounts being posted on hacker forums was first pointed out by Cybersecurity intelligence firm Cyble around April 1. The firm then reached out to the sellers of these accounts and bought 530,000 Zoom credentials at $0.0020 (roughly Rs. 0.15) per account, in an attempt to warn their customers of the breach.

The report also adds that these accounts were hacked through credential stuffing attacks that use previously leaked accounts to login to Zoom. The credentials that are successfully logged in are then compiled and sold to other hackers. These types of attacks are not unique to Zoom, the report states.
These Zoom account credentials include email address, passwords, personal meeting URLs, and HostKeys, according to the report. It was also found that 290 accounts were related to universities and colleges like University of Vermont, Dartmouth, Lafayette, University of Florida, University of Colorado, and others. Some accounts belonged to well-known companies such as Citibank, Chase, and more. Both Bleeping Computer and Cyble claim they have verified some of these accounts and that the credentials used were valid.

It is highly advisable that users change their Zoom passwords, especially if the same password is used elsewhere. They should try to use unique passwords for each site. Users can also check if their email address has been leaked by going to Cyble's AmIBreached service or Have I Been Pwned service.
This comes after Zoom faced several allegations for its security and privacy flaws. CEO Eric Yuan also held a livestream acknowledging the issues and stating that the company is working on fixing them.

PUBG Mobile ‘Cold Front Survival’ Mode is Finally Coming on April 16

Sunday, April 12, 2020

Remember there were rumours of a new ‘Extreme Cold’ mode coming to PUBG Mobile? Well, that is still in the pipeline. According to a social media post by PUBG Mobile, ‘Cold Front Survival’ is coming to the game on April 16, which is just a few days away.
Now there has been no specific information shared by the company, but the teasers clearly point out the previously leaked Extreme Cold mode that was seen on a beta version of Game For Peace (Chinese version of PUBG Mobile).

From what we’ve seen previously, it is going to be more of a survival mode. The mode will be set in Vikendi and players will have to survive in extremely cold weather by searching for wood to start a fire as well as hunt for animals to take on the cold wave. A timer will be added in this mode to notify players of the incoming extreme cold wave, so they can find shelter and prepare for survival. Players would have to deal with damage if they are not around a fire when the cold wave hits.
Additionally, one of the teasers also includes a drone that is expected to be added to the mode. If you have been following our PUBG Mobile coverage, you would know that the addition of drones to the game was also previously leaked. According to some leaked gameplay footage, the drones would only be used as a surveillance tool. They could be used to search for enemies or even weapons and equipment around the map.

What seems to be weird is PUBG Mobile’s decision to add the Cold Front Survival mode in the month of April. It would have made a lot of sense if the mode was added during the winter season. Also, instead of adding new modes, it would be great if Tencent would fix the numerous issues currently in the game.
